Parity disks unmountable - no file system (no btrfs devices)

Featured Replies

I set my server to reboot. I checked back and noticed it never went down. It was unresponsive via GUI or SSH for more than 15 min. I hit the reset button. Booted back up, docker was running but cache said it was read only. Rebooted. Came back up and the cache drives are now unmountable. Is there anything I can try? Or do I need to format cache and start over?

Cache pool is very damaged due to errors on one device:

May 20 19:01:31 Platter kernel: BTRFS info (device sdl1): bdev /dev/sdl1 errs: wr 58001047, rd 56786378, flush 32039, corrupt 232381, gen 0

See here for better pool monitoring, there are also some recovery options here if needed, but pool should be recreated in any case.

Thank you. The restore or repair options didn't work. I will clear the drives I guess and build a new pool. I will take out the SATA connected cache drive, and leave only the nvme in the pool. Then I will also use the monitoring ideas you shared. Thank you.
