I do not use cache disk and the default setting has included all of the dick with high water allocation method.

So right now data is splitting on all across drives and make VM performance is bad. I see all disk is read when running VM.

I want to gather all data back back onto one drive I tried to uncheck other drive on included disk but nothing happen.

Unraid will never automatically move files between array drives.

You may be able to achieve what you want using the unBalance plugin.  The alternative is to manually move the files between drives.

When going to the VM tab, all drives will always spin up.  But for actually running the VM, the only real thing that's read is the vdisk itself which is not spread across disks (no single file is ever split between drives)

Since you presumably have a parity drive, that's going to be the major cause of your performance issues, as under normal settings the write speed to anything on the drives is 4x slower.  You'd be able to mitigate that via Settings - Disk Settings and on reconstruct write on the Write Method tunable.  But every drive will stay spun up.

Thanks, I managed to use Crusader to move the files to the same drive already.
But what you've said mean even files are on one drive but all the drives still need to spin up while using VM ?
