How do I add and use dual gigabit nics in unraid?

Featured Replies

I did some googling and I can't find the answer.

I'm moving quite a bit of data around between 4 computers and I wanted to add some gigabit nics I got for cheap to double my speed. (3 for 5 bucks!) I've got them working on two of my computers but I cant get it going on unraid.

what do i ahve to do in unraid to make it work? (im a super scrub with anything linux/ command line)

i assume what im trying to do is possible right? im hopinh to be able to effectively transfer data to and from the unraid server at 2 gigabit speeds instead of 1.

If you mean a single transfer using both NICs it would need SMB multichannel working, and AFAIK no one has been able to make it work with multiple NICs and Unraid.
