trekkiedj
Hi all, Wow this unRaid is a learning curve but i am loving it!!! Ok so i have copied all my ripped blu-rays and TV-Series over to the array, set up the Cache Drive (a 500GB Seagate). I then started to rip more blu-rays and transfer them over this morning. I copied them to Drive Y on my windows machine which is the "Movies" share and then expected to see them in the cache drive but when i looked via network places the drive is clear and the movies are on the individual disk... this despite me putting the files on the "Share" and not the "Disk". I have enabled the Cache Drive on the shares screen for each of my shares but this seems to make no difference. I also noticed that the drive has spun down so it definately wasnt even attempted to be accessed. Is there anything i am missing here? Quote Link to comment
lionelhutz
Double check your user share settings. Double check that Y: is mapped to the Movies share and not Movies on one of the disks. Peter Quote Link to comment
trekkiedj
Hi Peter: I think i have done everything right... but maybe you could tell me by the shots below. Y: drive is the 19.1TB drive on the list so definately not the individual disk. Quote Link to comment

Rajahal
By the way, you don't need to list included disks if you aren't going to exclude any. If you leave both fields blank then all disks will be included by default. What you have is fine too, just an FYI. Quote Link to comment
