no access to the webui after the first reboot of the system

Featured Replies

Hi,

I created a unraid usb stick, booted from it and then selected the trial license in webui. Then I restarted the system. From this point I no longer get a connection to the WebUi, but I can ping the server on the local network, the ping is sometimes successful sometimes not. (as ipv4 address unraid shows me after reboot a completely different ip not matching to the netmask)

I have tried this several times, always with the same result: no more connection to the WebUi.

Thanks a lot

In the logfile there is an error: emhttpd: error: get_limetech_time, 256: Connection timed out (110): -2 (7)

I did not find any thing helpful in the internet :(

I hope you can help me.

thank you in advance.

If this is 169.... IP then it has connection problem to your router.

the "normal" ip is 192.168.178.xx

but after reboot: 169.254.27.xx

yes, it´s a 169.

But I have tested the lan cable with another computer (windows), with which everything worked normally.

And when I create a new usb stick and boot the first time, the webui works and the right ipv4 is displayed.

Thank you in advance

I just tested it again with another lan cable, now it seems to work.

Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, the cable was apparently not the solution.

Now I have the same problem as before.

The system was running, I rebooted, now it is no longer accessible via the webui. (via ping in the local network still reachable)

Type "diagnostics" in the console or use the local GUI to get them and post them here.

When running it i got a new error message: warning: no space left.
But on my usb stick as well as on my array and chache is actually still much space free.

Now the correct ipv4 is displayed, but I still have no access to the webui.

Looks like a flash drive problem, it's not booting correctly, try re-creating it or using a different one.

I created a new unraid usb stick, started the server the first time with that usb stick. It worked. I started the array and installed nvidia driver. Rebooted.

And now a cannot access the webui again.

May I ask how much system memory you have installed?

You might want to try the ‘df’ command to see if the USB drive is correctly showing as mounted at /boot?
