May 27, 20215 yr Hello! I'm extremely new to Unraid, and though I've been able to bungle my way through all my troubles so far, this one continues to frustrate me. I've been running a number of services for a while, and I wanted to separate them into their own VMs. Plex, my mc servers, some file storage, etc. I got Unraid on one of my systems just to test it, and it's up and running with two Windows 10 Pro VMs. One of them runs a Minecraft server, and the other is just something I'm playing around with. Here are some of the things that are working, and some that are not: FileZilla server on 34540-34542 doesn't connect MC Server on 34545 working properly MC Server voting rewards on 34546 works properly MultiCraft webserver on 25530 works properly MultiCraft FTP on 25534 works properly via web interface, but not from FileZilla RDC on 3389 doesn't connect I know my ports are forwarded properly, and I have all of these services working perfectly on a normal Windows 10 Pro PC, so I'm sure I've done something wrong in my Unraid configs, I'm just not sure where to look. It's just confusing to me that half of it's working, and half isn't. Any help appreciated, including vague nudges in the right direction! Edited May 27, 20215 yr by TheAlabaster Spelling correction
May 27, 20215 yr Author Each VM is for a family member to use at their own will, the apps I listed are just the ones I've been testing with. I was previously letting everyone remote into one of the three systems I have and run their stuff, but I'm looking for ways to divide the hardware I have into separate Windows VMs for each person. My younger brothers can navigate remoting into windows 10 just fine, but if I try and throw a whole new system at them it'll cause issues. As I said, I've gotten all those applications up and running on Windows 10 just fine, so clearly I've missed something important when setting up Unraid or the VMs (I'm still confused why half of my applications work with no issue).
