Adding more than 12 devices in Bios

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone -

I'm having a hard time finding a solution to my current problem.  I'm using some older PC components to build a new unraid server.  I've gotten the whole system up and running with out issues to make sure that it works.  That being said, when I connect my full compliment of drives - 11 HDDs 2 SSDs and the USB for the OS, I cannot get it to boot properly.  The system automatically runs the SSDs and then the HDDs first and maxes out at 12 readable devices for booting purposes.  I'm using an Asus p7p55d evo for the mobo and two LSI 6Gbps SAS HBA LSI 9200-8i = (9211-8I) for the SAS controllers.  Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Disable int 13H in the LSI bios.   Prevents them from showing up in the boot order
