SSD Cache, Deluge and Private Trackers Torrenting Config Questions - 6.9.2

Featured Replies

New user here,

Following SIO's Deluge VPN video and some helpful guides here I have managed to set up deluge VPN and I'm able to remotely access Emby via reverse proxy. But I have some questions.

1. SIO sets up deluge to download to the SSD Cache. I have a 1TB Cache but dont want to download private trackers to it, due to seed ratios/point generation. However I do want to use the cache for public torrents that are snatched and then stored. The private tracker goes to a seperate share than the public downloads. Is it possible to set this up? and if so how?

2. Deluge webui is rather poor and i'd love to be able to use the thinclient on my normal desktop for better functionality and for saving the .torrent files for the private tracker but the binhex deluge vpn file is deluge 2.0.3 and my windows install is 1.3.15, there is no 2.0.3 install, and the versions do not talk to each other. Can this be avoided in anyway? do transmission/qbitorrent have similar issues?

3. My file structures are all over the place from a good 15 years of downloads from various sources and goes back to the limewire days of single audio tracks. what is the best way to rename and sort this collection for something like Emby? roughly 2-3TB of data.

Any config/docker/app/process advice would be greatly appreciated.
