[SOLVED] All Shares (included "domains, appdata"...) are gone - only the disks are shared themselve.

Featured Replies

Hi guy's,

I hope you could help me...

During "VM Backup Plug-In", my server seems to be to hot, so Unraid decided to shut him down. After reboot, all my shares are gone, included the system shares like "domains", "appdata" and so on.

I read about this issue, but in most cases a reboot solve the problem. Not here... I try to use a Backup of my Flash, which I did one day ago, but same issue still present.

Only the "Camera" Share is still present, I don't know why. The "Backup_D23" I add by myself to test, but it's (surely) empty.

I add you my diagnostics, I hope you could help me.

I used Unraid mainly for storing Data, for 2 Linux Server VMs and a few Docker Container. I really need them back :(

You have something trying to access a user share before the array is started:

May 31 13:43:29 Tower emhttpd: error: share_luks_status, 5992: Operation not supported (95): getxattr: /mnt/user/Camera
May 31 13:43:29 Tower emhttpd: Starting services...

Yeah, probably my camera - which tries to send photos via FTP. But it is working since... 2 years ?! And I got multiple times restarted the server since that. Do you think this could be the problem? I will try switch off the camera and see what will happen.

I had my shares disappear  once. For me it was corruption on my USB. Put your USB in a windows machine and see if it detects any errors.

You meant the USB Stick with unraid? It's fine. As i wrote, I put it into my PC and wrote an older Backup to him.

Do the shares exist when you explore the disks via the GUI?

I don't know why, because I use unraid about nearly 2 years and I got this camera since day one with FTP upload, but this is working. If I stopped the FTP Upload of the camera, unraid is booting fine with all the Shares and services. Thank you!

This is known to be a problem, that's why I mentioned it, though not sure why it wasn't before or what changed.
