Checking open ports

Featured Replies

Is there a way to check on my unraid machine which ports are open from the WAN?

I.e. on my computer I can run https://portchecker.co and see which ports are open but since my router is forwarding a particular port (or should be...) to my unraid server I need to be able to check from that machine to verify that the port is open.

If you're checking to see if it's open on the WAN side, doesn't matter what machine runs the check it'll still hit the WAN IP. If you see a response, it's open to the WAN.

Ahh, I must have entered a wrong port first time as it didn't respond but I just checked again and it worked.  So that doesn't verify the port is actually being forwarded to a specific machine but at least I know it's open.  Thanks.
