First Unraid Build - Any concerns with this rig?

Featured Replies

Same story as most other people coming here - A friend of mine introduced me to Unraid as I was planning on putting together a NAS and it opened a world of possibilities :)

This is my first build so would love some feedback or views on whether there are any hardware issues/conflicts in this rig before I buy all my parts.

I'm planning to use this as a NAS, running the docker containers and eventually, when graphics card prices come down, set up a gaming VM.

I'm using the 8TB as the parity drive to give me room in the future, I've read that replacing these aren't that easy.

Let me know if there's anything glaring and any feedback is much appreciated.

The price are 3X of 4TB.

In fact quite easy or not worth due to "easy", "easy" only valid if data disk fail and you need extra step to swap parity.

Party sync time also in double.

I will do the same thing when disks price down.
