Good evening!

 

I currently have an UNRAID setup and have been using my board's on-board SATA controller for my drives.  However, I am looking to upgrade/move to a SAS based controller. My question is, with the way UNRAID keeps track of the drives, will my setup work after moving to a different controller?  I would think yes since it would recognize which drive is which based on ID's.

 

Just curious before I jump into this.

    Yes, if the SAS controller is in IT Mode, there should not be any issue.
