Unraid.net Access Switched my certificate for the worse

Featured Replies

I was trying our remote access with the new My server setup. I have my DNS at Cloudflare and use subdomains to access my server services. I use Cloudflare's Full/Strict configuration with a Origin Certificate that expires in 15 year.

HOWEVEr; when I said yes to the provisioning for setup remote access, it replaced my certificate with a Let's Encrypt Cert. Now NONE of my subdomains work get Invalid SSL certificate errors.

How do I fix this OR how can I deleted the Let's Encrypt cert so I can get back to my old configuration and access. I need remote access to my services ASAP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Need to remove certificate bundle.

Search for my server removal on YouTube as there is a good video explaining this.

This page explains how to disable Unraid's built-in Let's Encrypt SSL certs for the webgui:

  https://wiki.unraid.net/My_Servers#How_to_disable_SSL_for_local_access

If you want to use the My Servers Remote Access solution these certs are required, otherwise you don't need them and can use your own certs.

To revert back to your own certs here is what I would recommend:

* Go to Settings -> Management Access and change "Use SSL/TLS" to "No". This will change your url back to http://computername

* On the flash drive, delete the files in config/ssl/certs, specifically certificate_bundle.pem

* Now put your certificate files back in config/ssl/certs. You may want to turn on the help for the Settings -> Management Access page.

* Change "Use SSL/TLS" to "Yes". This will change your url to https://firstentryincertificate

This still works.
Thank you.
