June 9, 20215 yr Hey guys, I have a Toshiba N300 disk in the 2nd parity slot that is failing, generating more and more bad sectors. Can I just shut down the array, take it out and power up the array again, or do I need to do something else? Did not plan to buy another disk to replace it at this time, but if I have to do that to use the unraid array while waiting for repair/replacement I will.

June 9, 20215 yr Author I'm on 6.9.1. Thanks! So I will be able to run the array as normal with single drive redundancy while waiting for replacement, Although it was originally set up with two drive redundancy?
