Unraid server unresponsive

Featured Replies

Hello Unraiders,

My usually very stable server has become completely unresponsive for the 3th time in 4 days yesterday. The server itself will remain on but no docker, unraid dashboard page or SMB share can be accessed once it freezes up like this. Rebooting the server solves the issue with nothing strange or out of place once the reboot process ends.

I have the syslog being dumped into the flash drive so i can see the freeze happened somewhere between 2am and 9am when i noticed the server has become unresponsive and rebooted it. I have looked at the syslog but found nothing out of place, but I'm just a beginner.

I'm attaching the syslog and the diagnostics, i wonder if some kind soul could help me shed some light on what is freezing up this server

Thanks!

There's nothing logged about the crash, one thing you can try it to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disable, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
