I'm building a new house and new some POE ports and some non-POE ports. I figure this would fit the bill for the bulk of my non-POE ports. Doesn't have gigabit, doesn't support jumbo frames (since it isn't gigabit), doesn't have QoS, and isn't green. I think you get a heck of a lot for the extra $27.

I wonder if a Norco 4224 case could be installed in one of those. I suspect so. The LackRack link has a pic of an RPC-3216 mounted. The RPC-4224 is the same dimensions just 2" taller.
April 14, 201115 yr Any anyone confirm if they have one, are these switches fanless? Some say its fan less others say it does have a fan. I currenty have a 8 port HP procurve fanless one, I have no issues with them. Just looking to expand more ports.
April 14, 201115 yr I got one last month as indicated earlier in this thread and I can confirm that mine does not have a fan. I think it was the older variants of this model that had a fan.
