Replacing USB key not working

Featured Replies

I am in the process of building a new server after my previous one died a few years ago. When it did I set the usb drive aside so that I would not lose it, of course I lost it. I created a new drive and started a trial to start setting up the new server. I tried the instructions from Unraid here https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Changing_The_Flash_Device, but the Replace Key button discussed in the instructions does not exit in the current version that I downloaded. Is it hiding elsewhere? Or will I need to email them and wait?

Did you put your original license key file in the config folder on the new USB?

No, I had not, it was not in the instructions, or I repeatedly overlooked it.  Anyway, pulled up the original email, copied it over and the replace key button is there now.  That fixed it, now have a valid key.  Thanks.
