HP NC522SFP dual port shows in system devices but not in network settings

Featured Replies

I just got a HP NC522SFP Dual Port NIC 468349-001 from a friend and tried to install it to my NAS replacing a 1 port 10G nic I used to have in there, but i cannot select it in the network settings. I have checked in system devices and the card is showing. Do I need to install drivers for this card or is there another fix or am I stuck putting my old card back in.

You need to update the firmware for the driver to support the NICs.

Do you know how i would go about updating the firmware using unraid?

Sorry, never used one of those NICs, it shouldn't be difficult to find out by googling it, if there's no easy way with Unraid there should be with DOS/Windows.
