Move Unassigned Device to Cache Without Losing Data

Featured Replies

I am currently using a 2TB Crucial SSD as my docker and VM drive, is there any way to assign this as the cache drive without wiping out the data on it or will I have to manually move the content first and then assign it as the cache?

I understand I will need to change paths for Docker and KVM but I don't really want to manually move everything

The drive, like the array, is formatted as XFS

Thanks

If it was formatted with UD and you assign it as a new single pool device there won't be a problem, but there can't be any "all data on this device will be deleted at array start" warning in red.

Many thanks Jorge, all went through perfectly and I didn't have to do anything other than change the paths for KVMs and Docker
