Facing a weird issue with my server when using a second network card (USB based) as a backup or link aggregater.

 

Works fine for a few hours then my server randomly disappears from the network and to make things worse it doesn't respond to the shutdown command (pressing the shutdown button on the case). Usually have to force restart it or unplug and plug it back.

 

I have setup a static IP for this server and it uses a bonded interface (eth0,eth1).

Mode is set to active backup and both the interfaces are connected to LACP capable switch.Tried LACP LAG also and the same thing happens.

 

I have tested both the onboard and usb one in standalone mode and they work fine. Tried it on two different switches and a router but no luck.
