Mover from download_cache to correct HDD

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a download_cache SSD.

I have a share named Movies with cache pool enabled (see image)

Now I have my folders structured like so -

/mnt/disk1/Movies/480p Childrens

/mnt/disk1/Movies/720p Childrens

/mnt/disk1/Movies/1080p Childrens

/mnt/disk2/Movies/480p

/mnt/disk2/Movies/720p

/mnt/disk2/Movies/1080p

/mnt/disk5/Movies/1080p 3D

/mnt/disk5/Movies/2160p

/mnt/disk8/Movies/480p Comedy

/mnt/disk8/Movies/720p Comedy

/mnt/disk8/Movies/1080p Comedy

/mnt/disk8/Movies/480p Standup

/mnt/disk8/Movies/720p Standup

/mnt/disk8/Movies/1080p Standup

Ok I use SAMBA through windows and send files across where it goes to my download_cache, very fast.

At 2am it should move across.

If I have manual split on - it doesn't transfer at all, MOVER ends with data still on the drive.

The screenshot above works but it doesn't maintain my folder structure instead it fills on any drive (I need to use unbalance - which sort of defeats the object of what I am trying to do).  The option is to disable the download_cache but then I loose my cache transfer speeds (which I really like).

Any ideas how I can get the download_cache to transfer into the correct folder within the correct HDD.

I'm really surprised I cant work this out.

I like having this optimised folder structure, it keeps everything clean and as I use Kodi or Plex only the relevant hard drive spins up.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Chris
