choakem
Hi guys, I have a small machine hosted in a datacentre with a single IP. I have installed a windows VM and I can access via VNC using the IP of my server. Can I "Port Forward" an RDP port to access my Win 10 Machine? Any advice appreciated!! Quote Link to comment

tonelander
Guacamole might help you here, not sure. I use it for my windows RDP and SSH/VNC connections also. Quote Link to comment
Iker
Guacamole is a good option, however, you could try using a TCP Proxy - HAProxy will be a perfect solution as well. Edited August 4, 2021 by Iker Quote Link to comment
V1per5h0t
Guacamole is a good and easy to setup option, especially when paired with a reverse proxy. However, some of us want to do this using the native RDP client over the internet (primarily because it's more performant). Opening up a firewall port is a bad idea (security risk). The safest way I've found to do it is to use a tunnel: To set up a tunnel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ-6dActAr8 To setup RDP: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/tutorials/rdp Quote Link to comment
