June 21, 20215 yr I'm completely lost with this, not sure what to do next. I have an R710, and an R620. The 710 has an existing Unraid installation, which includes a flashed H200 to it mode, and 8 constellation 500 sas drives passed to a truenas vm. It has been working great, no problems. The r620 is new to me, I'm planning on creating a second unraid install. I have 6 300gb Seagate Savvio 15k SAS drives that I bought used, and tested okay. It has a H310 mini mono I flashed, which said it was successful. I booted into the new install and attempted preclear, which failed on post read on all drives. I tried running a format without preclear and got an error stating invalid partition layout. I moved to the 710, removed the constellations, and formatted the drives successfully with hba bios. Changed the usb stick to another fresh install and tried again. Wouldnt boot into unraid. Tried again without drive plugged in, booted, plugged the drive in and attempted format. Got this: blk_update_request: I/O error, dev sde, sector 1132 op 0x1:(WRITE) flags 0x800 phys_seg 25 prio class 0 I've got no idea what to do next, saw this only in my searches: https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/i5ra7d/unmountable_unsupported_partition_layout/ Thx in advance. EDIT: Confirmed unraid will not boot at all with the disks connected. Nothing shows at all after idrac sets its IP. Edited June 21, 20215 yr by Endgame
