Problems logging into unraid (solved)

Featured Replies

I had posted about another issue with flash file corruption and when I continued the old thread i thought this was related. This issue is on new hardware, with the old flash drive. After testing the memory it seems as if this is a new problem. When I boot unraid it seems to boot normal and comes to the prompt for the username. I enter root, then it asks for the password. When I try to type the password there are no letters or numbers generated by the keyboard, as if it were dead. This problem started on a new server, with the same flash I had been using. At the moment I have memtest running, otherwise I would of tried to generate a log file. Any help appreciated!

That is 100% normal.  *nix systems don't show anything when you are entering a password at logon.  Just type in your password and press enter.
