Drive(s) go missing intermittently. Have tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions?

nas1-diagnostics-20210624-1300.zipHi. Currently running Unraid v6.9.2 and have an ongoing issue with a drive (update: now drives) that'll occasionally go missing for no apparent (to me, anyway) reason. The drives are connected via two IBM M1015 running in IT mode (updated firmware), 4 motherboard sata ports and 4 Supermicro CSE-M35T1 mobile racks.

Every X number of power cycles (frequent as server isn't running 24/7 during the summer, as this condo really heats up) drive 17 goes missing.  Update:  Disk 1 is also occasionally going AWOL now too.

To date I've tried:

replacing the breakout cable

replacing the drive

replacing the motherboard, CPU, memory (had planned to upgrade unraid with my old desktop hardware)

replacing the IBM M1015 card (had a spare on hand)

replacing the CSE-M35T1 (was sure it was this, as reseating the cable appeared to sometimes help)

I now humbly admit defeat and was hoping one of you Unraid/Linux gurus had some ideas?

Definitely willing to pony up for a case of beer at this point.
