[SOLVED] Syslog being spammed with "shfs: fuse warning: munmap(0x14dd914e7000) failed" messages

Featured Replies

I've started to get thousands of these messages per hour in my syslog.

shfs: fuse warning: munmap(0x14dd914e7000) failed

I've searched this forum and google with no luck.  Exactly what are these messages telling me?

TIA

Your diagnostics might provide more information on your system and your issue.

Go to Tools / Diagnostics and attach the full zip to your next post.

I've attached my diagnostics zip.

Yesterday all of my shares disappeared.  The data was still on the drives, but no shares were available or shown.  A reboot of the unraid server fixed things for 24 hours, then it happened again.

If it's an option use only SMB instead of NFS, to see if it's related to that.

I think switching from NFS to SMB fixed the problem.  Don't know why though.
