July 2, 20215 yr Hi all! First time poster but long time lurker. You all have gotten me so far and I am loving my new setup with Unraid. I'm thinking this should be pretty easy for someone to get me back to where I was. I recently added a new drive to the array and in doing so, I believe I knocked a data cable loose or something else on ANOTHER drive (could have been for a day or so). It is now showing up as device disabled, contents emulated. I am running a parity check on the 60 TB array as we speak. My question is how do I rebuild that drive? I did a "SMART extended self-test" and it came back "Completed without error" if that helps. Let me know what logs or whatever else is needed to help. Thanks!

July 2, 20215 yr Author This may help as well. Thanks so much! homeserver-diagnostics-20210701-1811.zip
July 2, 20215 yr Community Expert Looks like you must have rebooted since the disk became disabled because I don't see anything in syslog about that. 1 hour ago, deepbellybutton said: knocked a data cable loose Very likely and may be the most frequent cause of threads like this from new users. SMART for that disk looks OK and as you say it passes extended test. You can rebuild the disk to itself. You should double check all connections first. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself
July 2, 20215 yr Author And it is now rebuilding just as you said it would. It's almost like you've seen this before 😀 Thanks!
