I have monthly parity checks that have been perfect until today. I remember forum said to NOT turn things off and to attach diagnostics so you can help. I have attached diagnostics and Media center PC is still on. Parity show about 300+ errors. Total noob and afraid to touch anything until further advised.

That relatively small number of sync errors is typical for unclean shutdown. You will have to run a correcting parity check to correct them.

 

Do you know why you had unclean shutdown?

It was a power failure in my neighborhood. 

 

So what you are saying is I can do "parity check" but have little box that says "Write corrections to parity" CHECKED before starting the parity check? yes/no?
