Probably a really stupid question, I'm kind of confused about setting the settings for a custom parity check schedule, I want it to happen every 3rd month. I have selected evert third month under month of the year. I would like it to happen on the first day of the month like the monthly checks, so I select the first week of the month but if I leave every day will it auto to the first day of the month or do I have to select a day or it will try to do it every day? It takes about 3 days to do a full check, will it then just keep re starting it?

You need to select a day of the week, otherwise it will start a parity check on every day of the selected week.

 

E.g. If you select "Monday" it will do a parity check every first Monday in the months January, April, July & October (so 4 checks a year)

 

Thanks, that is what I thought, shame you cant just select first day.
