boozel
Hi When i shutdown my unraid server from the webui it shuts down just fine but then when it boots up it starts a partiy check. I check the syslog and it shows "Jul 8 20:43:07 Mothership emhttpd: unclean shutdown detected". Any idea why a webui shutdown would be seen as "unclean"? The full syslog is attached. Thanks in advance. syslog.txt 1 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Syslog is after rebooting so not much to see, when Unraid forces a shutdown it saves the diags in the flash drive (logs folder), post those instead. Quote Link to comment
6of6
I would say this is a known problem, because it happens to me (a little different) more often than not. What's "Mothership"? (don't answer that). 6. Quote Link to comment

boozel
Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately I had a power failure a little after posting this so I need to run a full parity and the once that done I'll do the shutdown and post the logs just to make sure it really is a clean shut. That single ZIP file is what we want. Quote Link to comment

trurl
Stop VMs before shutting down and see how long they take to stop. Then try increasing Shutdown Timeout in Settings - Disk Settings as needed. Quote Link to comment
DivideBy0
Could be a shell open? That was my problem. Install Dynamix Stop Shell Quote Link to comment
boozel
Hi Increasing the Shutdown timeout fixed this for me. Thanks very much! 1 Quote Link to comment
