July 11, 20214 yr I would like to ask is there any detriment to the unraid array when the server is configured to go to s3 sleep mode rather than having it running 24 / 7 this is purely a cost saving approach one I am thinking of implementing.
July 11, 20214 yr Depends on the specific combination of hardware. There is a reason why S3 sleep isn't natively supported by Unraid, you are certainly welcome to try the 3rd party plugin to enable it, but there is no guarantee it will work properly.
