July 16, 20214 yr All- I'm getting 1000+ parity errors when I do a check- the system is correcting them, but I'm assuming I have a failing disk, but I can't figure out which one. Attached is my syslog - can someone help me ID my problem? Many thanks! syslog.txt
July 17, 20214 yr Community Expert Could not see any obvious sign of a disk failing, although there were signs of what might be cabling issues on disk2 and disk4.. I would suggest that running long SMART tests on all drives might be a good idea.
July 18, 20214 yr Community Expert Also a good idea to run memtest, bad RAM is the number one reason for unexpected sync errors.
