Server to Server backup

Featured Replies

I'm wanting to setup a second unraid server to be an offsite backup of my main unraid server and am looking for some help on the best way to do this. I can get a wireguard connection from the backup server to my home server and can add a remote smb share from the home server to the backup, but don't know what would be the best way to automate things so I can encrypt the files and program it to keep so many versions of each share.

My initial thoughts were to use Duplicati similar to Spaceinvader One's video on the remote server to pull data from the home server.  This may still be the best way, but I've read some other posts on here that Duplicati wasn't reliable so I'd like to know if there's something better out there.

Thanks in advance!
