Unable to passthrouh dual nic card. Checkbox greyed out

Featured Replies

Hi,

i installed dual nic card in my board both nics are online and working.

When i  try to add it the passthrough device under system devices the checkbox is greyed out. Any ideas why? there is a error in the log. Sounds like it can;'t load the card into the system

I am running unraid version 6.9.2 and i believe i had this working in the old version by manually editing the file but i think i removed those entries since it was no longer needed.

If i set the ACS to both i can passthrough the one nic from the dual gigabit nic. I am not sure why its not letting select both

I forgot to mention. I have 3 nics. Unraid is plugged into the build in Nic. These nics aren't being used for anything. I do see it show up in the unraid network setting so it is being detected.

Usually, If you have settings under Unraid for the NIC, then Unraid won't allow to pass it through. Double check the network/VM/Docker settings.

Good call on that, i noticed Eth1 had bridging enabled,. I was able  to pass through both devices now.  Its now working!
