March 20, 201115 yr ok here is my basic setup if more details are needed please let me know. Running windows 7 ulitmate on a wd blue hdd have a blackhdd as slave where all my data is stored. have unraid setup using mostly wdears green hdd all with jumpers on pins 7-8 i believe. cant remember right now but they are the appropriate place per wiki site. running all gigabit network everything from router to all my ports in my entire network. i cant see that this has anything to do with anything but i want to point it out. in my house i had a little power flicker the other day everything shut off for a split second then came back on. and after that is when i had the slow transfer speeds. i went from average of 25-30MBps down to about 5. i have changed absolutely nothing in my network or on my desktop or anything in my system at all. can someone please tell me what to check and any ideas no matter how "outside the box" they are would be greatly appreciated...thank you oh ya also running version: 4.5.6 unraid *ps i hope this is posted under the correct forum..sorry if not
March 20, 201115 yr One, or possibly more than one of the devices on the LAN, might not have reset properly in the power blip. For each device on the LAN, including the router, power them off, then back on after a few seconds.

March 20, 201115 yr i am resetting everything right now...what brand UPS do you recommend that wont break the bank? thanks Get an APC Smart-UPS. The older models with RS-232 are fine too and compatible with unRAID out of the box. The newer Smart-UPS have USB connector. The RS-232 to the Smart-UPS is a special cable so make sure to get it with the UPS.
