July 30, 20214 yr 1. My HDD enclosure went bad so none of my drives were showing up (Just a 4 disk USB 3.0 enclosure) 2. I am now running PCIe > SATA and all are recognized in BIOS and Unraid 3. The SN's have changed according to Unraid so I can't re-start my device 4. One of the drives may have actually gone bad during this time Any thoughts on why the Serial Numbers would have changed so Unraid doesn't think they are the correct drive, when in fact, they are the same physical drive.

July 31, 20214 yr Author Yep, that makes sense! So I did have one drive go bad during this, so I am just doing "New Config" which shockingly worked great! I can't see anything lost yet even though I removed that faulty drive, and it's rebuilding my parity now.
