(SOLVED) Increase Ubuntu disk size

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have Plex and Kodi running on a vdisk1.img inside /mnt/system_cache/domains/kodi plex/vdisk1.img

It has 78G allotted and a capacity of 200G

Inside Ubuntu - in the Disks app - I cannot unmount because the drive is busy.  I cannot resize the drive.

I can't seem to make it boot to the buntu setup iso -  i have the ubuntu mounted as SATA, but no matter what I do or press (F12, F2, DEL) it boots to Ubuntu where it mounts the drive and becomes busy.

Please help me expand the volume, as now PLEX has become unusable.

Set up a new barebones linux vm, then temporarily add the problem vdisk file as a second hard drive and operate on it from there.

I still had issues that way but on the barebone machine you mentioned; I tried GPartion app which worked a treat.
