August 5, 20214 yr Whenever I start a virtual machine in unraid, it fully crashes, is there a reason that this might be happening?(edited) The asus motherboard has the error code 04 when this happens Edited August 5, 20214 yr by aakashkumar
August 5, 20214 yr Not enough information. Post your diagnostics and also enable the mirror syslog to flash option and post that after a crash. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-781601
August 5, 20214 yr Author Thanks for your response, I have attached the diagnostics. Also I should mention, whenever I attempt to run memtest through the unraid boot menu, I get the same error code. aakashserver-diagnostics-20210805-1103.zip syslog

August 5, 20214 yr Author Hi, thanks, changing UEFI to legacy worked and I was able to run memtest, but it did not identify any memory errors and the crash still persists
August 6, 20214 yr Community Expert Doesn't seem you ran memtest very long if you replied only 2 hours later.
August 7, 20214 yr Author Sorry, I was not sure how long to run it for since it was a new set of ram, I assumed since it said pass I thought that was good enough, after running it for an additional 26 hours it has still not found any errors. Edited August 8, 20214 yr by aakashkumar
