Ronald Nutter
I have two small Unraid servers. Just connected the first one to a APC Back-UPS RS 700G. The RJ45 port on the back can be either Serial or Ethernet. I have been going through the online manual from the Unraid interface and dont have a good idea of how to get things running using an ethernet connection instead of serial. Should I something else to get a single UPS talking to multiple Unraid servers. Would appreciate pointers on how to get this setup. Thanks Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
See if the info linked here gets you anywhere. In a nutshell, get one server working with the UPS locally, and connect the other using the apcupsd signalling. Quote Link to comment

Thanks You need a APC cable to connect the RJ-45 to USB, in fact, it use USB not Ethernet and not serial. Quote Link to comment
