Hey everybody, apologize for my lack of knowledge here! First time ever using an HBA and unraid.

 

First, unraid booted fabulously WITHOUT the HBA installed, but when it is installed all get is a flashing line at the top left of the screen.

 

Hardware:

Ryzen 7 1700x

Gigabyte B450M DS3H

LSI 9217-8i

 

when I bought the HBA, the seller said it was flashed to IT mode which if I understand correctly is what I want with unraid.

 

 Any help would be appreciated!

You might need this trick. Typicaly for non server boards.

Sometime removing the BIOS from the HBA also helps, it's not needed for Unraid.
