Configuring multiple NIC's for full bandwidth - Netgear MS510TX

Featured Replies

Hello

My server has two 1GBit NIC's which are running in active backup since I didn't have a configurable switch. Now I upgraded to a Netgear MS510TX but I am not able to setup everything correctly. My goal is to use the full bandwidth of both connections as a "bundle", but I have no experience doing so and I can't figure it out with the documentation.

I initially tried setting up LAG on both ports on the switch, but I had to reset it as I lost connection to the server. It seems more has to be done or in a different order.

Can someone please help me out, perhaps even via Teamviewer?

Attached are screenshots of the server network config and the switch configuration for LAG (this seems to be the relevant part).

Here is the switch manual: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/MS510TX/MS510TX_MS510TXPP_UM_EN.pdf

Thanks in advance!
