March 22, 201115 yr Discovered Downpour the other day: http://jongsma.org/downpour/ And would quite like to install that alongside SABnzbd/Sick Beard instead of Transmission. I've got setuptools installed (if not persisting through reboots), and tried easy_install downpour. That required a C compiler, which I installed. Currently, it blows up when I get to Twisted-Web and can't find the right package. That, I probably can resolve later. Right now, I'm fishing for ideas on how to make downpour persist. Can python's site_packages directory be relocated to flash? Is there a better way?
March 22, 201115 yr Now we are talking. I've avoided anything that didn't have a RSS feed because I like my shows to come down automatically. Still the idea of putting my machine on the net freaks me out thou.
March 23, 201115 yr Yeah, I'm not skilled enough to tighten the security on my server to avoid any intrusion.
