Joining UNRAID to AD Domain

Featured Replies

I've been beta testing the new version and I'd like to test adding UNRAID to the domain. Every time I try to join the domain I get an error in the log telling me I need to edit the /etc/samba/smb.cfg file by adding realms. I did not find anything in the UNRAID documentation about this so I wanted to ask to be sure.

Do I need to added the realm to the smb.cfg file? If not, how do I get this to work?

I apologize in advance that I'm not a Samba expert.

thanks,

Phil

Look through the AD subform a little ways down on the main page.  There is probably an answer in there on how to get AD working with unRAID.

Prostuff1, where is the "AD subform"? Are you talking about sub forum?

thanks,

Phil
