August 19, 20214 yr I have a problem the other day where my cache drive suddenly was unmountable after a reboot. I have not idea why this happened. The drive doesnt state any errors ion the smart check. I currently have the system still running but the cache drive is read only so i know once i reboot the machine i will lose the drive again. I have pulled the log of the disk and pasted it into pastebin. Can someone please check it out and see if they have any idea what is going on. The cache drive already had to be reformatted once and I lost all my appdata info (i.e. plex, sync, sickrage) and i just redid everything today. https://pastebin.com/rD6Crnah

August 19, 20214 yr Author Are you saying i need to backup the entire pool or just backup the cache drive (which I am currently doing now)? My pool is 45tb and i do not have the capacity to back it up. I was reading that I need to do a mem test and my ram may be bad. Im doing to do that when i get home today.
August 19, 20214 yr Author understood. Thats what im working on now. I already lost my entire plex database once. I just restored it and it happened again. Also the cache SSD has been running really hot, like 51*C. Im not sure if thats adding to the issue as well. I have my server with the cover off while im testing things so maybe the airflow isnt enough to cool it now.
