How to restore docker containers from appdata after usb dying.

Featured Replies

My USB decided to die this morning.  After replacing it and reassigning my drives, all my docker containers are gone.  My appdata directory is still intact, so I would have thought that unraid would pick these back up.  However, that isn't the case.  The previous apps in CA are all empty, so I am also unable to restore them that way.apollo-diagnostics-20210822-1058.zip

The flash drive contained the templates with any customizations. So, you will need to redownload each container, modify any settings you changed from defaults, and make sure they are pointing to the correct folder in appdata.

You should always make sure you have a backup of your flash drive any time you make a configuration change.

If you had done this then you could have used the backup to create your new USB drive and then after doing the licence transfer to the new drive you would have found that your drives were already correctly assigned and the Previous Apps section of the Apps tab would have been populated for restoring your docker containers with their settings intact.

You were running the appdata backup plugin, and if you had it set, then there's also a backup of your flash drive made (Although I recommend using the MyServers plugin even without remote access to make flash backups)

Can i find this information somewhere in the config folder if i set the backup @Squid and which files would need to be intact if i want to recover the docker settings? I think most of my config folder is fine, just the key and plugin folder seems broken.

Thanks for the help!
