I enabled my servers and now I cant get to my unraid server anymore through the local IP or my servers!

Says my device is offline in the my servers tab but it is not offline.  Everything worked for about 1 minute and then it wouldn't work anymore and typing in the normal local IP just takes me to

Check if there is a typo in b9c833d403f49dff6b50c172cb7e81dd6fca89c1.unraid.net.

If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

well I don't know why this would matter... I forced a different DNS in my adapter and now its working.

Sounds like you were in the process of setting up local SSL to prepare for Remote Access? Glad you got it working. 

 

DNS is critical because it allows yourpersonalhash.unraid.net to resolve to your local IP address. This full hostname is needed for SSL. 

 

BTW if DNS goes down in the future, here is the process for getting access to your server:
