Docker And VM Empty after Ram Upgrade

Featured Replies

Today, ive taken my server offline for a ram upgrade to 64 gigs.

Did the upgrade, boot it back up when i was booting i believe there was a energy shortage and when the server finally got back online VM And Dockers are all empty.

The crazy thing is they are there, I just dont know how to get it back working..

Ive checked the Wiki, and all other forum threads with a similiar issue but couldnt solve with the provided guidance.

Ive Atached the Diagnossis from the unraid server.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Looks like your disks don't have much if anything on them. Is that expected?

After a whole night debugging, Ive found out that my old 240g cache disk stoped working during the ram upgrade.

Ive placed it back to work and in case anyone has the similiar problem heres how i solved.

I added another disk as cache (my 1tb nmve) while debugging (not required if you have your cache disk back)

  • When i installed the cache disk back unraid ask to format it, but i had 160gb of data on it that mover did not got a chance to move so i did not
  • I Started the Array with no Cache.
  • After the array started i stoped it and created a new pool cache with my old cache drive, than restarted the array.
  • Moved all files from the cache drive to their desired location.
  • Moved docker.img and libvirt.img to the system folder who now was set to CACHE NO so it goes to the array for now.
  • Turn off the array.
  • Got my nvme back as cache with all the data on it.

PS: I Needed to do above because unraid would not accept nvme and cache drive at the sime time without formating one of them. so while i did the above steps i had nvme unnasigned.

This solved my problem i hope if anyone has a similiar problem this thread helps.
