Douji Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 Good evening, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my unRaid rig, as it currently runs on scrapped parts (i5-4650k + some cheap motherboard). Got a new Rm550x 2021 and I wanna grab an used i3-8100. I do need help regarding the motherboard. Currently I can get a new ASRock C246 WSI for ~95€. The C246N-WU2 seems to be the king, although I can't find new (and used (!)) ones below 160€, same with the WU4. How bad is the power consumption between those options? Electricity in Germany is sadly expensive. Is the upgrade worth it in the long term? Best regards Quote Link to comment
