6.9.2, all hell has broke loose

Recommended Posts

My cables came from amazon, CableCreation [2 Pack] Mini SAS 36Pin (SFF-8087) Male to 4 SATA 7Pin Female Cable, Mini SAS Host/Controller to 4 SATA Target/Backplane, (B07CKX62L6)

my Power connectors came from there as well, StarTech 15.7-Inch (400mm) SATA Power Splitter Adapter Cable - M/F - 4x Serial ATA Power Cable Splitter

(B0086OGN9E)

are either of these known to cause problems?

My parity drive is still disabled.

Even after you get your hardware problems worked out, you have to rebuild parity to get it enabled again. Not sure if you knew that, and nobody seems to have mentioned it in this thread.

Start with parity disabled, then enable and restart?

Of course if you are still having hardware problems you will have problems with rebuild.

Parity rebuild might be a good test to see if your problems are resolved though. Parity has none of your data, and parity rebuild will read all other disks and write parity, so a good exercise of all disks and their connections.

His last diagnostics still had a drive falling out so there's that to deal with
