(Solved) unable to access gui after adding disk

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I shutdown my poweredge T430 to add a new disk. When I rebooted, I can’t get to the gui. It gets the ip and I can ping unraid and unraid can ping the network. I tried booting with gui but firefox does not connect to the localhost. I don’t know what to look for next. Please help me troubleshoot

Sorry for the trouble. You have a Basic license which allows up to 6 attached storage devices:

The new disk you added puts you over that limit. Normally that would not prevent the webgui from loading, but we recently confirmed a bug in the My Servers plugin that does exactly that.

I can think of two ways to get around this:
1) Boot in safe mode, upgrade your license, then reboot in normal mode
2) Unplug the new disk so the system will boot normally, upgrade your license, then plug the disk back in

Thank you. it turned out to be just that. the good folks at discord helped me sort it out. I removed the plugin and it booted normally. license has been upgraded. Any idea when the upgraded plugin will be released?

Now that the license issues have been resolved you can simply reinstall the plugin and everything will be fine. But yes we need to fix the plugin as soon as possible to prevent issues for other folks.

In case anyone was wondering, the latest version of the plugin no longer has this issue when there are too many disks for the current license. Thanks for reporting it!
